Your information.
Treated with care.
An explanation of what this website collects, how enquiries are processed, and the choices available to you.
Effective date: 13 October 2026. This notice covers the Povilas Brand website at povilasbrand.com. It describes the website's current operations, not additional services that may later be agreed under separate contracts.
1. Who operates this website
Povilas Brand is the professional presentation used by the site's operator for systems architecture and technical consulting enquiries. For questions about your information, contact the operator through the contact page with “Privacy request” in your message. Additional legal entity or business-address information can be provided where applicable and required.
2. What we collect
When you submit the project brief form, we collect the name, email address, optional company or project name, your message about the proposed work, the type of engagement you selected, the time of submission and the browser user-agent associated with the request. Infrastructure providers may also process technical information such as IP addresses, connection data and security or performance logs.
3. Why we process the information
We use submitted contact information to review your enquiry, assess fit, respond when appropriate, administer potential project discussions and protect the website from misuse. The applicable legal basis depends on local law and may include steps requested before a contract, legitimate interests in responding to enquiries, or consent where required.
4. Where the data goes
Website traffic is routed through Cloudflare, and contact submissions are stored in a private Cloudflare KV namespace. Fonts are delivered through Google Fonts, which may receive connection information from your device. Illustrative imagery is hosted through the website. The domain's existing email DNS configuration uses Zoho, but form-to-email notifications have not yet been verified or enabled. These service providers may process data in other countries under their respective privacy terms.
5. Cookies and tracking
The current website code does not intentionally deploy advertising pixels or marketing analytics cookies. Cloudflare or other security infrastructure may use technical cookies or request signals for security purposes. If additional analytics or consent-dependent services are introduced, this notice and, where appropriate, consent controls should be updated first.
6. Retention and security
We aim to keep enquiries only for as long as reasonably necessary to evaluate them, communicate about the request, and meet applicable legal obligations. Access should be limited to authorized administration. Although reasonable security controls are applied, no internet transmission or storage can be guaranteed completely secure.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may be entitled to request access, correction, deletion, objection, restriction or other remedies regarding personal information. Send a privacy request through the contact page, preferably from the same email address used for the enquiry. We may need to verify the request before changing or releasing any records.
8. What not to send
Do not share passwords, API keys, payment details, health information or other sensitive records through the public enquiry form. Sensitive project materials, if needed, should be handled only through separately agreed secure channels.
9. External content and changes
Links to third-party websites are subject to their own terms and privacy practices. This policy may change when the website or its data processing changes. The current version and effective date will appear here.
If a separate client services agreement or data-processing agreement is required for a future engagement, its agreed terms will apply to that work. This public notice is not such an agreement.
